International hardware and tools manufacturers keen to tap into high-growth Middle East region

Dubai, UAE: As the Middle East’s construction and infrastructural expansion continues apace, resulting in driving demand for quality hardware, tools and machinery, international brands continue to use Hardware+Tools Middle East as a regional launch platform for new and innovative products.

At the upcoming edition of the region’s premier trade show for hardware, tools, materials and machinery, a series of prominent international manufacturers will be making their regional debuts with their products and services, when the trade show opens doors in Dubai later this month.

“Hardware+Tools Middle East has a growing footprint across the region, bringing in exhibitors and trade visitors from across the wider Middle East, thus making it an ideal vehicle for global brands to launch products, interact with the trade and analyse current regional trends,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organiser of Hardware+Tools Middle East.

Bringing their comprehensive range of hand tools and specialty tools to the region is Chanellock from the United States. The company is a world leader in the manufacture of high quality pliers from as far back as 1886.

International Sales Manager Mogens Lorenzon said: “We will introduce several new products under the Channellock brand, but most importantly we are going to introduce our new nippers for the construction market. Our new nippers are slimmer and lighter than our old version, and they require less force for cutting. We are at Hardware+Tools  to meet with our customers in the region and also to reach out to new customers.”

Also from the USA with a range of household and professional repair products including repair wraps, heat wraps, UV repair pens and rigid patches is FibreFix, which is looking at making a connection with regional traders and buyers.

Uken from the UAE and Wiha from Germany are also prominent among the exhibitors debuting new products at Hardware+Tools Middle East 2016. While Uken will be introducing their measuring tools, drill bits, finishing and interior tools and abrasives across the regional market, Wiha will be hoping to impress buyers with their range of award-winning ergonomically designed hand tools.

Hardware + Tools Middle East 2016, which runs from May 23 to 25 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition centre, will feature 179 exhibitors showcasing more than 250 brands. The show will feature three Country Pavilions from China, Taiwan and Thailand.

Featuring top international brands form Germany, USA, Italy and the UAE, the Expert Zone will display the latest in innovative tools, materials and machinery from leading world manufacturers. Among those showcasing their wares include: Bosch from Central Motors and Equipment UAE; TechnotubiPicena, Italy; Ajustlock, USA; VIPA, Italy; Channellock, USA; Uken, UAE; Wiha, Germany and FiberFix, USA.

Hardware+Tools Middle East is a magnet for trade buyers from across the Middle East and North Africa, including distributors, retailers, exporters, importers, contractors, fabricators, consultants and industry professionals involved in the booming regional construction sector.
